ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PARAGUAY VISA

1. Indian National holding a valid Indian passport can apply for Paraguay Visa.
2. Person wishes to travel to Paraguay for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through VT Travel. Person who seeks employment in Paraguay is not eligible to apply through VT Travel.
3. Travel insurance is mandatory requirement for passengers traveling to Paraguay. VT Travel also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Tourist :

1. Passport: Original passport with a validity of more than six months and minimum two blank page for visa stamp.
   a) Two copies of the first, second and last page of the passport.
   b) Attach all your old passports (if any)
2. Paraguay Visa application form : Two typed visa application forms duly filled and signed by the applicant.
3. Photo Specification: Two recent camera clicked passport sized colored photographs on a white background with 80% face cover on a matt or semi-matt finished paper (35mm X 45 mm to 50 mm X 50 mm) .
   Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
4. Covering Letter : Covering-Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay, Delhi.
   Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.
5. Financials:
   a) Two copies & Original Bank statement for the last six months
   b) Two copies of Credit Card

7. Original Police Record Certificate duly attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, by the Government of India.
8. Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary
9. Proof of Accommodation : Hotel Confirmation
10. Please Note:
   a) It is advisable for applicants to carry an Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.
   b) An interview will be held by the Embassy after processing the visa. Applicant might be called for an interview depending upon the travel history.
   c) For Indian nationals, who reside in Paraguay, if they are married in India and wish to return to Paraguay with their spouses, they should present their Civil Marriage Certificate from the office of the Registrar of Marriages, duly Notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India.

Business :

5. Invitation Letter: Original Invitation Letter from Paraguay host / Inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation. The Invitee Company has to present the original invitation to the Paraguay Ministry (MRE-Passport Office) and get it attested.

6. Please Note :
   a) Two set of photocopies of invitation letter are required for those participating in conferences, seminars, artistic or sports events.
   b) Invitation Letter from Paraguay host / Inviting Company should directly be sent to the Embassy by email also send one email to us for visa submission.
7. Financials
   a) Personal Bank Statement for last six months
   b) Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque
8. Proof of Occupation
   a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation / Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership Deed
   b) Brief Company Profile
   c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
   d) Recomendation letter through recognised Chamber of Commerce in India.
9. Original Police Record Certificate duly attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, by the Government of India.

IMPORTANT POINTS FOR FAST TRACK VISAS

Pax may be called for Interview by the embassy.
Original Yellow Fever Certificate is mandatory at the time of travel (Not required for visa processing however).
