ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THAILAND VISA

1. Indian National holding a valid Indian passport can apply for Thailand Visa online.

2. Person who wishes to travel to Thailand for the purpose of Tourism can apply Thailand tourist visa online through VT Travel. Person who seeks employment in Thailand is not eligible to apply through VT Travel.

3. We suggest applicants to carry Travel Insurance while travelling to Thailand. VT Travel also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED (For Stamped Visa):

1. Original Passport: Valid Indian Passport with minimum validity of six months.

2. Application Form: One Thailand Visa application form to be filled in completely and duly signed by the applicant. (Application form available under "Visa" tab on VT Travel website. Please select the form - i.e. Mumbai or Chennai location as per Passport Jurisdictions mentioned below in Important Note). For Applicants under 18 years of age- Please take any one Parent's signature on application form, page no. 01.

3. Photographs: 03 recently clicked color photos in 35mm X 45 mm, 70% to 80% face cover with both the ears visible and with White background and Matt finishing. 

4. Covering Letter: Covering letter from applicant mentioning Applicant’s name, Passport details, Residence address, Date of travel, Duration of stay and details of expenses to be borne during their visit.

    If applying visas at Mumbai Consulate, the Covering letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Thailand, Mumbai.
    (Covering letter format will be provided by VT Travel).

    If applying visa at Chennai Consulate, the Covering letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Thailand, Chennai.
    (Covering letter format will be provided by VT Travel).

5. If applying for Business Visa: Need Invitation letter from counterpart company mentioning Applicant's name, Passport details, Travel date, Duration of stay and details of expenses if to be borne by them during applicant's visit.

    If applying visas at Mumbai Consulate, the Invitation letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Thailand, Mumbai.

    If applying visa at Chennai Consulate, the Invitation letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Thailand, Chennai.

6. Financial document: Finance confirmation: Original receipt of Forex purchased worth USD 700 per person OR Last 03 months Bank Statement showing minimum balance  of Rs. 48,000/- (Need Bank stamp & sign on the Bank statement)  OR  Front and Back photocopy of the valid International Credit card. 

7. Air tickets: Confirm return Air tickets.

8. Hotel Confirmation: Confirm hotel booking voucher.

For 15 Days Single Entry Thailand Tourist e-Visa on Arrival (EVOA)

(Please note this is Pre-approval Registration and not visa. The decision to allow entry in to the country will be at the discretion of the Immigration officer at the airport).

Documents Required :-

1. Passport valid minimum for one month from the date of arrival in Thailand.

    Coloured Scanned Passport Cover page (Containing Indian Emblem)

    Coloured Scanned Passport First Page (Page containing personal details of passport Holder)

    Coloured Scanned Passport Last Page (Page containing Parent’s Name / Residence Address)

2. Confirmed return airline Ticket (Stay in Thailand should not exceed 15 days, including Date of Entry and Exit)

3. Hotel Confirmation (This will be verified by Thailand Immigration) (The Voucher needs to have passenger name as per passport).

4. Photographs - Size 04 x 06 Cms required for visa application. The applicant is also required to carry the photo along with all other documents during their travel.

5. Annual income of the applicant.

6. Profession & Designation of the applicant if employed.

Entry/Exit  in/from  Thailand Should be from any one of the below 4 Airports only.

1. BKK (Suvarnabhumi International Airport)

2. DMK (Don Mueang International Airport)

3. HKT (Phuket International Airport)

4. CNX (Chiang Mai International Airport)

 

Process After Confirmation of THAILAND VISA (EVOA) :-

Upon arrival the passenger will have to go the EVOA counter, dedicated to provide support to all online applicants – there will be 3 dedicated immigration lanes for this service.

Important Note: Please note, any change in given Travel schedule will result in visa being null and void. Fresh visa in such case needs to be issued.

PROCESSING TIME

The Normal processing time is 03-04 Thailand Working Days except for Saturday, Sunday and any Thailand Holidays. However it may take some more time if it is pending with the Security Department.

Important Note (Passport Jurisdiction for applying visa): -

For applying visa at Mumbai Consulate :- If passport is issued from state other than Maharashtra,GOA,Gujarat,Madhya Pradesh ,Dadra and Nagar Haveli ,Daman and Diu,  will need additional stay proof (any 02 documents) from the below list of Stay Proofs.

For applying visa at Chennai  Consulate :- If passport is issued from state other than  Karnataka,Tamil Nadu,Andhra Pradesh,Kerala,Pondicherry,  will need additional stay proof (any 02 documents) from the below list of Stay Proofs.

- Saturday and Sunday are considered as non-working days for Thailand.

KANCHANABURI:
