Day 1| Stockholm


Welcome to Stockholm. Spreading idyllically across a Baltic Sea archipelago of fourteen islands, it’s easy to see why the Swedish capital of Stockholm has acquired the nickname “Venice of the north”. It seems as if wherever you look, your gaze is met by water. Located on Sweden’s southeast coast, Stockholm weather changes according to four distinct seasons. Summers are warm – sometimes quite hot – and it rarely gets dark during summer nights. The winters may be mild and rainy but can also be quite cold and snowy. The colours of autumn are spectacular in the city parks, and spring is welcomed by locals, wrapped in blankets and sipping a drink, at outdoor restaurants and cafés. Stockholm city has an abundance of charm, history and tradition. This urban and trendy city will impress you with its interesting museums and castles. The city keeps its warm atmosphere apparent in the old town. Take time to explore the small and winding alley ways - the perfect area to find a suitable restaurant for the evening.


Day 2 | Stockholm


Breakfast at the hotel. The city is easy to get around on foot or public transport, and its various districts have their own unique vibes – the island of Södermalm has a laid-back air and is a draw for the creative set, while Östermalm is the picture of refined elegance. Nestling between these two areas, Norrmalm is a busy and vibrant downtown spot, and you’ll find the charming Old Town (Gamla Stan) south of Norrmalm. Enjoy your day in the capital, before departing later in the evening by train from Stockholm to Kiruna.


Day 3 | Kiruna


Breakfast is available on the train at your own cost. Transfer from the train station to the Icehotel, where your day is at leisure. Your accommodation for tonight will be in an ice room at minus 5 degrees, you sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on reindeer skins. Your special bed is made purely out of snow and ice.


Day 4 | Kiruna


This morning you are awakened with a cup of hot lingon-berry juice at your bedside. Breakfast buffet with morning sauna and towels are included. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the beautiful surroundings. Kiruna is a small mining town located smack centre of the Aurora oval. Home to Abisko National Park, Sweden’s highest mountain Kebnekaise and the ski resorts Björkliden and Riksgränsen and not to mention ICEHOTEL in the small village of Jukkasjärvi. It’s also a town on the move (yes, they’re moving an entire town) towards a sustainable future for its inhabitants.


Day 5 | Abisko


Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station for your train journey from Kiruna to Abikso STF Mountain Station. The mountain station is located in the heart of Abisko National Park, 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. This area offers the perfect opportunity to view the magical Northern lights.


Day 6 | Abisko


Breakfast at the hotel. This morning’s excursion is all about snowshoes, as you explore the Abikso national park. Included in the excursion is a light snack and a hot beverage (a classic Swedish Fika). This evening a chairlift will take you up to the

Aurora sky station. At the top of Abisko, a four course dinner influenced by Nordic cuisine is served.


Day 7 | Narvik


Breakfast at the hotel and departure by train to Narvik. This city has islands to the west, fjords stretching from the North to the South and mountains in every other direction. The city of Narvik is located in Northern Norway, and it is surrounded by majestic nature. Tall mountains soar above the blue Ofotfjord, and they are perfect for hiking and skiing. In winter the northern lights dance across the night sky, while the midnight sun ensures long, bright summer nights.


Day 8| Tromso


Breakfast is served at the hotel. Today view Narvik from the top, to get there you must take the 1810- meter long cable car to the highest point of the station where the breath-taking views over Narvik City, the deep Ofotfjord and the surrounding mountains can be seen. Later board the Arctic bus as your journey continues to the city of Tromsø.


Day 9 | Tromso


Breakfast at the hotel before enjoying the spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords by taking the Cable Car. The city is situated in the heart of the Northern lights zone, known as Aurora

Borealis, and therefore belongs to one of the best places on earth to experience this mysterious phenomenon. The cable car, from where you can Tromsø’s spectacular surroundings, is open from 10:00 to 23:00.


Day 10 | Tromso


Breakfast at your Hotel & departure from Tromso according to the itinerary of the guest. We will be able to arrange transfers for guests at (additional cost).
